A WALK OF VICTORY
1 Chronicles 12:32 (KJV)
32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
We are in the season when the move of God is sweeping mightily positioning the church. God is gathering an army for the end time finale. Through this army, God is displaying His power, might, and authority. This elect of God, the remnant, God’s chosen, are called forth to proclaim the powers and wonders of God. The day of the Lord is coming, and before that great day comes, God is raising up an army in accordance with the book of Joel verse 2:2-11. This scripture gives us a vivid description of this great army of God.
Joel 2:2-11 (KJV)
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
This army rising does not use physical weapons; all the weapons of this army are purely spiritual and cannot be seen with the physical eyes.
In verse 2, we find that the victory is already settled. God is marching before this army as a pillar of fire and behind them as a pillar of cloud. (Before them a fire devours, and behind them a flame blazes). Our God is a consuming fire!
In this army, each individual is equipped to battle prince, powers and principalities of cities, nations, regions, and continents. Each individual fights alone in mind, but unified with a mighty host of like believers.
This army is fearless. Every Holy Ghost filled saint of God, has dominion in both the earthly and the spiritual realm. In verse 3, Joel 2 says, the land is as the garden of Eden before them. Adam was in charge in the Garden of Eden before the fall. He had dominion over the earth and over all God’s creation. Adam gave up authority and set in motion humanity walking in dominion or giving their authority to satan. Jesus Christ paid it all at Calvary establishing the victory for this end-time army filled with such dominion to walk in.
Verse 4 states; this army has the appearance of horses. It depicts strength and power, they gallop and don’t walk; hence, they are swift in whatever they do.
Verse 5 says that this army leaps over mountaintops, which means there is no impossibility with this army. They walk in God given dominion and authority! This army overcomes all obstacles, barriers, and hindrances.
Verse 6 explains that people are in anguish at the sight of this army. In 2 Kings 17 and 18, the whole nation of Israel and Ahab their king was in anguish of Elijah because he had declared there would be no rain for three years and it was so. Never has there been a day when the masses are so against the church. Entire nations are against Truth, it’s beliefs and its doctrine. Society has turned its back on the gospel of Jesus Christ and embraced false doctrine and blasphemous ideologies.
This army is completely sold out to their course. Verse 7 says, they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: They are following the path of holiness and righteousness, as written in Isaiah 35 v 8, And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Verse 8 says, Neither shall one thrust another. Everyone is focused and gives no time to distractions. Everyone is highly disciplined and determined to stay on their course. This is the time to stand to and shun evil and wickedness in pursuit of righteousness!
They shall walk every one in his path. This army, even when faced with temptation does not fall. They come through it clean and they do not break ranks. They obey and adhere strictly to the commandments of God, and they do everything to avoid faltering. They are fortified; they display a high level of spiritual maturity after the direction of Elijah, Daniel, Paul, Joseph etc.
God Himself is the commander-in-chief of this great army, as can be seen from verse 11.
God is raising up men and women with the spirit of Elisha. These are the days of Elisha as individuals stand on their feet as a one-man army. Physically, a one-man army stands alone, but in the spirit realm connected to Jesus Christ, they are a majority, a mighty army surrounded by a host of angelic beings, which are prepared to make war and destined for victory. This is not the day to be weak, let the weak say I am strong (Joel 3:10), this is not the time to be on the defensive, this is the hour of attacking fortifications of the enemy, the time to take it to the enemy with all the power of prayer, fasting, and intercession, pulling down strongholds to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Elisha was alone with his servant when the king sent a group of armed soldiers to arrest him, but spiritually he was surrounded by a host of heavenly angelic beings. When Elisha’s servant saw the king’s army, he was terrified and he cried out to Elisha. Elisha told his servant to not fear and assured the servant that they were not alone, Elisha prayed to God to open the eyes of the servant and his eyes were opened and he saw multitudes of angels and chariots of fire surrounding them. (2 Kings 6:8-23)
God is raising men and women as He did Elijah, standing before presidents and leaders of nations declaring the word of God fearlessly. These individuals are bold and will stand firmly declaring Truth.
It is imperative that just as Jeremiah preached the unpopular message during his day, that men and women rise to the occasion in this hour and proclaim the non-politically correct message of this day. Too many are falling prey, too many individuals are succumbing to the influence of world philosophy thinking. In this hour, the message may not be the most popular, but as watchman on the wall, Truth must be preached and adhered to without bending and bowing to popular opinion!
Jeremiah 1:18 (KJV)
18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
Today, we need positive faith reinforced teaching and messages of inspiration! All that we hear in the news, day in and day out is dysfunction in family, business, and government. Good positive inspired teaching about the power and wonder of God is absolutely necessary. But, there are many false teachers and prophets proclaiming feel good messages with no judgment. Balanced teaching and preaching is needed. The Word declares that the whole gospel be preached to the whole world!
Matthew 24:14 (KJV)
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Moses stood alone before the great and mighty ruler Pharaoh and admonished him to let the people go. He pronounced doom and woes on Pharaoh and told him to let Israel go. Pharaoh only let them go after miracles, signs and wonders. In this hour we must have such a powerful move of the Holy Ghost that miracles, signs and wonders operate so individuals will be loosed by the power of the almighty God from the grasp of satanic influence. Men and women of God in this hour must rise up, and they are, to be used powerfully in demonstration of the Holy Ghost through them. This is the day of God moving powerfully loosing good honest hearted individuals to position themselves for an inheritance of the kingdom of God!
An army of Ezekiel’s is rising, watchmen who watch the towers of God, individuals that will stand at the gates of the city and take charge in the spirit realm, individuals that will possess the gates of the enemy. Seeing the enemy from afar before he strikes, they strike him down. How does this work? It’s operating in the spirit realm exposing the deeds of darkness and dismantling wicked plans of evilness set against people of faith.
This fight, this war is not for the weak, let the weak say I am strong through Jesus Christ (Joel 3:10), it takes a high level of discipline, determination and commitment to holiness living to war in this victorious army. Mighty men of valor, an army taking this world by storm in the wake of broad dysfunction, it will be God’s miracle working power in demonstration! Who will answer His call to step to a higher level of service?
Many are called, few are chosen, God only chooses those who make themselves available through dedication, commitment, and sacrifice abiding by God’s terms and conditions. The rewards are out of this world!
Choose this day whom ye will serve!
