Hitler was able to convince an entire nation that people of a particular ethnicity were inferior and should be eliminated. The Germans implemented a program of “disinformation,” false information was deliberately distributed to the German people.

Every phase of life was covered, from media, art in art galleries, to the classroom, etc.. Jews were presented as sub-human and not worthy of the air they breathed. This manipulation was so effective that by the time Hitler implemented the “Final Solution,” those who murdered Jewish children thought they were doing the right thing.

As we consider the state of the world in 2017, what is taking place in the natural, is already operating in the spiritual realm. Nations leaders play mind games with each other manipulated by demonic forces that are determined to draw all nations to a showdown.

Revelation 16:13 (KJV)
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Constant headlines from around the globe report nations coming together as an act of force or simply partnering strategically with each other in deterring offensive maneuverings against them.

Tactical strategies both defensive and offensive by countries showing military might without firing a shot at other nations, keep nations aware that they have capabilities to wreak great havoc on opponents. Ancient mind manipulation and war games are as old as the ages.

There is an old English proverb worth heeding that says, “Age and treachery will always defeat youth and zeal.” One should be knowledgeable when engaging in spiritual warfare, that our enemy is an ancient treacherous foe.”

Globally there is a state of lawlessness that seeks to consume humanity. It is a perpetual state of insanity against laws of God that seek to destroy sound minds and become the authority in the lives of individuals. What we see in the natural is already warring in the spiritual.

Jesus prepared His disciples for everything including war. They saw Him casting out demons. In fact, He sent them out doing the same. But before He sent them out, He charged them to become “wise as serpents yet innocent and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16).

Matthew 10:16 (KJV)
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

The combination of divine wisdom and Christ-like innocence is the source of all spiritual victory. We can defeat the enemy. But we must learn the ways of God, which means we must think with wisdom, and we must be pure of heart, that we may see God and gain discernment.

I am convinced that the enemy strategically practices war games against humanity to find our weaknesses. For thousands of years, he’s had the advantage of studying reactions, body language, and speech. If that be so, exploiting individuals as they react to life can show weaknesses and therefore the attack plan can be implemented.

We have witnessed numerous who have fallen. Jesus warned that the love of many would grow cold. It’s a mistake to think it can’t happen to me. Our enemy has been deceiving mankind for thousands of years. He’s strategized against great and powerful men and women of God that folded up under the stress and pressure of intense battle.

Allow me to present the reality of this writing. We are not perfect, it does not matter your Apostolic pedigree or heritage, your name – who you are, your title – office you hold, how great your prayer life, how incredible your walk with God, how inclusive your relationship with Him. We are human and the reality of the attack against us is proportionate to our walk. When an individual hits the wall and things come crashing down, there better be a safety net of prayer, fasting, and relationship that can withstand the enemy’s onslaught, because for a period of time it will seem to be a never-ending ordeal. To turn a blind eye, a deaf ear, or simply ignore what this cautioning is attempting to warn against is foolishness on our part that we can handle all the aspects of ministry without recognizing our own human vulnerabilities.

It’s incredible to be on the mountaintop operating in the gifts of the Spirit, walking in miracles, signs and wonders. It’s just as devastating to be in the valley of disillusionment sinking under self-questioning of where is all this heading, attempting to answer why is all this going on, or why do I feel the way I do, or… you get the idea! Questions, that you recognize are strategically regurgitated from an enemy that is on the warpath against you! The problem is, you can’t seem to find the answer, although you know the answer, because it’s right in front of you, you’ve heard it all your life, you’ve lived it, I mean my goodness – its simply biblical and you understand what’s going on, you go to fitful sleep and the war rages through canals of the mind, you wake up and its still roaring, and you go about your day wondering what’s wrong with me, when is this going to end. Step into the pulpit, there’s a great move of God, and for those few minutes during the service, the anointing, there’s peace, but then it begins all over again! You can ignore for a time and deny it, but the struggle is real and the war is a battlefield of the mind! The only reprieve is when the enemy regroups for a different angle of attack.

Our enemy has been deceiving mankind for thousands of years. We must be bold in our prayer life. Many well-meaning Christians have approached this field of battle with flippant attitudes and have suffered greatly for it!

Satan’s strategy starts in the mind; this is his primary means of beginning his destruction. Few Christians realize this. Too many times things that happen are put off as just stuff – life. No, there isn’t a devil under every rock, but you can believe he’ll exploit every possible stumble and even the victories.

Super powers use insight to strategize mind games in manipulating policy, doctrine, plans, strategies, and tactics used by anyone in many fields: military, politics, business, games, etc., creating, changing and influencing the endless flowing streams of plans, control all interconnected goals and actions, deciding dominant tactics and setting into motion any unstoppable strategy and plots.

Whether well-laid battle plans, strategic mind fields, or war games; whether world super military powers, demonic forces, or our own mind playing games against us, the struggle is real, and reality is, each and everyone of us will face conflict of some sort during our lifetime. On the spiritual side of things, its not if, its when! We are at war!

Then there are nations and leaders like North Korea Kim Jong-un. If the sources are correct about his regime, then we see the demonic openly on parade before our very eyes in this leader.

This is a leader that has reportedly executed thousands, rather than truly register his own psychological annihilation. His rage manifest as an arsenal of weapons of mass destruction, coupled with raw hostility toward other nations. It may sound astounding to think that one human being, suffocated psychologically, could threaten the entire world with his internal fury bent 180 degrees and then released from the caldron of his psyche, but that is Hitler’s story too.

These are examples of war games of the mind to the extremes, and many Christians fail to recognize the strategies pitted against them, even ministry play off mind thoughts as no big deal, when there really is meaning behind it all! If its important for forces of darkness to hijack nations to an Armageddon finale, then doesn’t it make sense its strategic to get into the minds of Christians to sabotage their thinking?

THE ATLANTIC – Thirty minutes. That’s about how long it would take a nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launched from North Korea to reach Los Angeles. With the powers in Pyongyang working doggedly toward making this possible—building an ICBM and shrinking a nuke to fit on it—analysts now predict that Kim Jong Un will have the capability before Donald Trump completes one four-year term.

Kim Jung-un seemingly sits with a hand poised above the nuclear ballistic war button, or does he. He holds hostage a world afraid of taking him down according to news articles.

In the spiritual realm individuals so many times are held captive by thoughts and inaction against a loud-mouthed demonic foe that is many times just a bunch of mouth but no fight. When you are in the midst of the battle all you can hear is the mouth, it can seem the fictitious is factual.

In the middle of battle, when the enemy has attacked with viciousness, its no longer a war game, but he’s now strategically attempting to take you out, sideline you, and ultimately trip you into the pits of hell! A tenacious faith in God must rise up that has been birthed out of prayer, fasting, and relationship.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (KJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Satan is out to deceive us, torment us, destroy us. He wants to keep us from the truth, because he knows that the truth, the Truth of the Word of God, when it’s applied to our lives will set us free. The attack of the enemy is raging against individual lives! If God be for us, who can be against us, and at the end of the day, at the end of the battle, that is all that really matters!

It’s important that we recognize we are at war, all out conflict, life and death, physical and spiritual. On this side of glory, this war will never end, it is a relentless barrage of attacks from an enemy out to kill, still and destroy. From this war, there is no discharge. It begins with a spiritual fight for our lives and it can often end in spiritual death as well as physical. Sound extreme? Count the fallen, analysis their history, again I’ll repeat it, don’t be so flippant that it can’t happen to us!

There are many verses in scripture that address conditions written in this posting, but one that fits well is Jeremiah 1:10 followed up by verse 5 of 2 Corinthians 10 already mentioned:

Jeremiah 1:10 (KJV)
10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Verse 5 speaks of “demolishing arguments and pretenses.” Scripture says “casting down imaginations.” The word from the Greek translated for imaginations or arguments, means “a reasoning or thought.”

Many are held captive by a thought or a bombardment of thoughts. Those thoughts bring fear, anxiety, and perplexity. Thoughts that take root in our mind and then we begin to speak them. What was once the voice of the accuser, now becomes our voice, questioning our effectiveness, worthiness, value etc..

May times we often take the plain truth of God’s word, twist it and turn it in such a way that it’s no longer absolute. We reason that our specific situation is so special and unique that we are not bound by the same rules as everyone else. We rationalize and excuse the truth into what we want to hear and apply it the way we want it applied. We raise the problem above God’s power, we forget when we’ve done all we can do, we must simply stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Exodus 14:13 (KJV)
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Faith is an action. To believe is to have faith in the Word of God and to act on the Word of God. Sometimes “standing still” is an action. We must replace the enemy’s words with the Word of God. God gives us a sound mind and sometimes from underneath the lily of the valley, walking through seemingly a spiritual shadow of death, we have to let God’s everlasting arms wrap around us and hold us through times that we really don’t understand what’s going on! Its in those times, we must not despair and stand like no other time and see God work, because its in those times, we know that only God can – we must have it settled in our spirit that we really do know God will if we will just rest in His everlasting arms, for we know that God has never failed us and He never will. He is not man that He can lie!

2 Chronicles 20:17 (KJV)
17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

Deuteronomy 33:27 (KJV)
27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Exodus 33:14 (KJV)
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Isaiah 14:3-4 (KJV)
3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
